![]() Second, the female protagonist, Jenny (and her husband John). I’m not gonna spoil it, but I think it’s a very cool idea. They are big and smart and beautiful, but they’re different. ![]() In this story, dragons are a little different. In most stories though, dragons tend to be either big magical beasts that are highly intelligent, or they’re dumb but dangerous animals. There are some things I really like about this book. But the memory of this wonderful story lingered in the back of my mind.Ī few years back now, I suddenly remembered this book and I wondered was it as great as I remembered? So I bought it, along with some other books I had fond memories of. I left the book and moved on with my life. ![]() Later, when I learned to read in English, I found that is was due to poor translation (and probably because I was young as well). But there were things I didn’t understand, things that were confusing. ![]() When you’re young and read books, you sometimes love them a lot, only to realize as an adult, that they weren’t that great or well written. Dragonsbane by Barbara Hambly is one of them. But many left me with permanent memories and feelings. I was impressionate and every book was a great adventure. ![]()
